Erika is a fourth year midwifery student at McMaster University and a research fellow with the McMaster Midwifery Research Centre. Her research interests include: health research methodology, midwifery services, accessible and inclusive health care, and population and public health.

Sam is a fourth year midwifery student at McMaster University and a research fellow with the McMaster Midwifery Research Centre. Her research interests include: sexual and reproductive health, midwifery services, accessible and inclusive health care and health disparities.

Liz is the director/assistant dean of the Midwifery program and an associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University. Her primary research focus is maternal and newborn health services. Her other research interests include: midwifery services, health disparities, access to care, health policy and perinatal health surveillance. 

This research was funded by the early career researcher grant provided by the Association of Ontario Midwives (AOM).
